Mobile Arts is seeking a talented Senior Stop Motion Editor to join our team.
You will edit and enhance stop-motion projects, ensuring high-quality
and seamless animations. Your expertise will bring our stories to life and
captivate our audience.
Responsibilities:
Editing stop motion animation frame-by-frame to ensure smooth and seamless transitions
between frames.
Applying color correction techniques to enhance the visual appeal and consistency of the
animated sequences.
Organizing and arranging scenes in the correct order, trimming unnecessary frames to
maintain a coherent and engaging narrative flow.
Utilizing software like Adobe After Effects to add visual effects and transitions that
enhance the storytelling and visual impact of the animation.
Selecting and adding appropriate music, sound effects, and voice recordings, ensuring
synchronization with the animation. Adjust audio levels and sync clips with voice
recordings to create an immersive audio-visual experience.
Adding subtitles to the animation as needed, ensuring they are accurately timed and
enhance the viewer’s understanding.
Creating and adding end credits, ensuring all contributors are properly acknowledged.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in film editing, animation, or any related field.
Proven experience in editing stop-motion animation, including frame-by-frame editing
and color correction.
Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar
tools.
Strong understanding of color correction techniques.
Experience in arranging scenes and trimming footage to create a coherent narrative.
Knowledge of adding and syncing music, sound effects, and voice recordings.
Ability to add subtitles and end credits accurately and effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with kids’ content.
